生活所感到的压力何以会造成患心脏病的风险提高?

在医学杂志《柳叶刀》上发表的一篇文章显示,如果人体大脑深处不断经受压力则会提高患心脏病的风险。

这项研究调查了300人,发现大脑深处区域(相当于杏仁核处的地方)感受到的压力活动越高,人就越可能得心脏病。现在的研究发现,紧张和压力与吸烟和高血压一样是触发心脏病的诱因。因此,心脏病专家说那些经常感受到压力的人应该得到如何解决压力问题的帮助。

人们早就知道精神压力会增加心脑血管疾病的风险,但人们并不知道为什么。而哈佛医学院的研究人员现在发现人脑深处负责情感区域的部分,比如恐惧与愤怒等情绪如果过分活跃,可以解释为什么会增加心脏病的危险。研究人员还发现,当大脑的这一区域活动增加就会给骨髓释放一种信号,使其产生额外的白血球,这些过多的白血球会导致动脉发炎,继而会导致心绞痛、中风或是触发心脏病。

此外,如果人的压力越高,其身体发生炎症的机会就越大。因此,减压不仅只是改善人们的心理状况。
