【惊】久坐不动,大脑内侧颞叶会变薄!

​美国一项新研究指出,久坐对身体健康的影响,不仅限于过去发现的会增加心脏病风险等,对中老年人的大脑也有一定负面影响。这项研究出自美国加州大学洛杉矶分校一个研究小组,相关团队对中老年人进行的这项研究显示,久坐不动的人,大脑中一个对记忆至关重要的区域厚度会变薄。

研究小组招募了35名年龄在4​​5岁至75岁的志愿者,询问他们的身体锻炼情况及平均每天坐着的时间。然后,研究人员对这些志愿者的脑部进行了高分辨率磁共振成像。结果发现,坐的时间较长与大脑内侧颞叶变薄有关联。

内侧颞叶是大脑中参与形成新记忆的重要脑区,针对于此研究人员说,内侧颞叶变薄是中老年人认知能力下降和痴呆的前兆。这项研究结果说明,对于早老性痴呆等疾病高风险人群,可以尝试减少久坐时间。

分析还发现,即便进行较高强度的身体锻炼,也不足以抵消长时间坐着给大脑带来的负面影响。此前多项研究已经发现,久坐不动会增加人患心脏病、糖尿病甚至过早死亡的风险,其危害堪比吸烟。

本次研究负责人最后亦特别建议道,为了防范久坐带来的健康风险,人们首先应该减少每天坐着的总时长,其次在坐着办公或学习时,应该隔一段时间站起来活动一下,避免持续坐着。
